With the significant increase in the number FAA section 333 exemptions for commercial drone services in the US, we thought it interesting to create a snapshot view of the current state.
This is based on the published FAA data so does not take into account unauthorised commercial drone use.
Its clear that although there has been a significant increase in the number of authorised commercial operators they are still light on the ground when compered with more established markets such as the UK and Australia.
It will be interesting to see how this continues to develop 2015/16, and what impact regulation changes will have.
